Macedonia’s national airline is Macedonian Airlines MAT, and though the airline does not offer direct flights to the UK, there are a number of options via cities such as Vienna. Other operators offering services to the country include Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Croatia Airlines and KLM. Flights from London to Skopje take around four hours, though this can go up to around six hours with extended stop-offs. Skopje’s airport offers taxi services to the city, along with amenities such as duty free, a bar, bureau de change and car hire.
